So I’m divorcing my husband and moving out this Friday. I want to go away in the summer. I will want a relaxing break, where I can flob by a pool with temps at least 25 degrees, with good food, but reasonably priced for a singleton! I don’t want to be going out and about loads, so eating on site would be ideal. I really will just need to curl up and enjoy the sun and chill out!

Any ideas?

I went to Kos on my own last summer and it was lovely! Just annoying having to pay more than you would do for 1 person if you went as a couple!

Have you thought about a cruise? You can flop but there’s always plenty to do and it’s not awkward being alone for meals etc. You can easily make friends on a ship as your all in it together.
I would also recommend the South of France. Cheap flights. Antibes Villefranche sur Mer and Menton are fab. They are pretty enough to distract you from misery but aren’t package holiday places. Lots of places to eat and drink usually with lots of random people crewing yachts passing through. Doesn’t feel unusual being a singleton unlike more family orientated resorts. I would go for an Airbnb apartment. You can pick up cute studios really cheaply as there are a fair few second homes.

I had 5 days alone in Croatia last year, after spending the first 5 days with a friend.

I booked the remaining 5 days with Sardinia Yoga (they operate in several locations)
What I loved was it was only 2 hours of yoga in the morning - on the beach front - and then brunch all together and then we were totally free.
So it gave me lovely people to hang out with if I wanted for day trips / dinner but equally time in my own too.
I’d highly recommend it and found it cheap compared to other yoga / retreat style stuff. Also I don’t like to be told what to do at set times, that’s not really a holiday for me!
