Santa’s Lapland - advice

We are planning to take our 2 DD to Santa’s Lapland in Dec, ideally in a log cabin, 2 adults and 2 children. Just doing an initial search and for 2 nights it’s coming in at £6k which is extortionate!

Can anyone recommend a way of doing
The log cabin more cheaply please?

We went with Thomson in 2012 and stayed at Santa Sport for £2200 for 4 of us, price now seems to have risen to just over £4k (we went 23rd Dec for 3 nights). They have log cabins at various places and options on 23rd December from just under £4k for all of you, often voucher codes as well. We chose a hotel rather than the cabins were prettier as its dark about 20 hours a day and our hotel had pool and playcentre though there's loads to do anyway on the packages and cabins look lovely.

We also only booked in November and price had gone down a few hundred though its a balance as some sell out.

@KoalasandRabbit - thanks for the info, I’ll
Have a look at that

Go in February instead. We had an amazing week there for half term, having given the kids the trip as a Christmas present. It felt a lot more special then... you get more time and less crowding/queuing etc.
