Due to storm Dennis and easyjet we are going to Lisbon on a city break with kids are 3 and 6 for 8 nights. Our beautiful beach front apartment in Gran canaria sits empty!
At least we are going somewhere and I'm trying to get excited. But it's not as hot or relaxing and we lost 2 days and over a grand if travel insurance doesn't pay.
I've been to Lisbon pre kids and enjoyed it. We know the main sights as got a guide book. So will do science museum, zoo, aquarium. Also trips to beach and cascais. I'm after a bit of inside knowledge for those with kids. Very best pizza place, ice cream, parks, places to play where mum and dad can chill out! Activities maybe. Can we easily do day trip to natural areas on west coast? What's transport like to get there.
