Night away in Brighton

A couple of girlfriends and I are planning a girls night away - fantastic! We fancy Brighton and are going at the end of September. As this is a very rare treat we want to make the most of it.

Does anyone have any recommendations of anywhere to stay? We'd like something not too far out, reasonably priced and not too chintzy if you know what I mean! We'll be staying on a Saturday night.

There's some very funky hotel in Brighton that doesn't cost a bomb apparently. All the rooms are done in different style etc - will try and find the name for you. Might be Hotel Peliroco but could have just made that up.

Snap! We were planning a Saturday night away in Brighton in September and the Hotel we choose was fully booked until 26th October! Can you believe it? If you find somewhere that has availability take it!!

Hiya - I'm in Brighton so any advice just ask. Yeah Peliroco is very funky, but there is another similar one. Let me know if you still need any info and I'll let you know.

Can anyone suggest a nice B & B / cheap hotel for a weekend in Brighton ? Wish it was for me, but friend is visiting. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I'm not sure how cheap it is but the new Hotel du Vin is meant to be fantastic. I haven't stayed there but have stayed at the Hotel du Vins in Bristol and Winchester and they are really gorgeous with fantastic food too.

best food in Brighton IMO is Terre a Terre, a veggie restaurant that gets booked up months in advance. love their chunky chips with aioli at lunchtime with an organic beer..mmmmmm
