In a fit of post hol blues (and dreading retun of DC to school tomorrow and all that term time palaver)have just booked next summers's hol on a bit of a whim to LVP with Eurocamp (we always do an early summer hol in one of their sites and have always been lucky). Booked this one with no research, only that the DC want to do more surfing so we are going south to the Atlantic Coast - hopefully a bit warmer thatn Brittany/Vendee where we normally go, so I can sit on the decking with my book and sundowner without shivering.
Has anyone been there - any good tips about the locality?
Many thanks

We have been twice with SIBLU.

It is a very large campsite in a great region. You can walk to the beach (bit of a hill though!), or drive to the nearby lake (5mins, beach & pedaloes there), or even drive into the mountains.

We cycled a lot too, & went on a great canoeing trip.

It is warm, but can get windy on the beach which is loved by surfers - so beware the waves! Death by Paddling!! Great fun though.

I have kept all the info so will try & find more tomorrow if you like.

You cannot have BBQ's (forest fire risk) but can use the communal BBQ areas which are friendly. You are right in a forest so loads of shade available under the Pines. A liitle train also takes you to the beach for a small fee.

The attached funpark area is useless, and also had bullfights! Drive a bit for better attractions.

They have a Hogroast once a week which is always on our arrival day so saves cooking. Can have PAella or Hog + Cake etc
