With DH job we get 75% off travel on ES. We are skint so no plush holiday abroad or even in the Uk. But with 75% off where could we go?
Will have DS15 with us - he likes the beach and water parks Hmm

Anywhere but Lille. It has very little going for it (apart from potato restaurants Hmm).

You'd have to go to Marseille for beaches I think. Or Calais at a push.

Nice perk!
I'm looking at aix en province at the moment which looks lovely

Avignon! Station is just outside the city walls so an easy walk. There is a wide range of hotels and b&bs, and it's a lovely city to explore. You can also go to other lovely places from there for day trips etc. Six hours on the train for us non stop but we're near Ashford.

Direct trains to Amsterdam are about to start soon. You could probably do a fairly cheap cycling holiday in the Netherlands ?

... and I think there’s a Dutch version of Centreparks which is supposed to be cheaper and better

Avignon, if you can afford to you could hire a car and then stay in a campsite with one of those tents that already erected and equipped (Eurocamp, Canvas).
