Places to stay in Paris suburbs near RER

I am looking for an air bnb. I don’t mind being out of the centre but I do want to be within a short walking distance of an rer station, preferably the c line as planning to go to Versailles. The way air bnb lists locations is not massively helpful so I would be grateful for any suggestions of cheap places to stay, preferably self catering. Thank you.

I think you're going to have to trawl through the listings. I'm looking around NE Paris and if they're close to the RER they say quite clearly. Familiarise yourself with the C line and then look at the map on AirBnb.
