Barbados Recommendations

Hi,

We have a babymoon coming up and we thought a trip to Barbados might be nice. We have flights but haven't chosen hotels or a villa yet. Any recommendations or advice?

Have read very mixed reviews but mostly positive.

If you stay on the west coast around Holetown then expect to be paying a lot of money for (albeit delicious) food. Places are still very relaxed on the whole though. South coast is slightly cheaper I think and home to more all inclusive hotels if that's what you're looking for

We stayed at Butterfly Beach. It's a small family run hotel, so not AI or anything fancy.
It's near Oistins.
It did us fine. Right on the beach, and two pools. Small kitchen in bedroom.

I'd recommend it, but I wouldn't particularly recommend Barbados. It was ok, but I wouldn't want to go again.

If you do go though, go to Oistins Fish Fry on a Friday night.
