Anyone flown with Air Europa?

I'm looking at flights to the Caribbean for half term and Air Europa are literally £1000 cheaper than anyone else. Even with having to pay for baggage it's a big saving and the flight times work for me. Has anyone flown with them recently? Should I not be so mean and just fork out for Virgin?

Never flown them but did some basic research for you.

They are the third largest Spanish airline, owned since November 2019 by IAG. IAG are the owners of British Airways.

They can fly in Europe and the USA which means the follow the highest standards of aviation maintenance.

I'd fly them without hesitation. The only airlines I avoid are those with poor safety records or which do not meet EASA/FAA standards to fly in EU/USA airspace. Air Europa is neither.

I flew inter Europe with them last year. No issues whatsoever. Can't say the same for the connecting British airways flights though!
