Cheap hot holidays

Any recommendations for pretty cheap last minute hot holiday destinations. Need to be suitable for an 18 month old and preferably an all inclusive hotel with a beach or water park near by. Also not too far from Scotland as I don't think my little one would last very long on a plane...

You'll be struggling to get a hot holiday at this time of year within a 4hr flight of Scotland. The Canaries would be your best bet.

Nope. Done lots of cheap hot holidays but would never do AI

Barbados for under £3k
Ghana £2k for two weeks awesome but bit harder to get too. 4-5 star

It's pot luck in the Canaries at this time of year. It can be hot, or it can be less hot. Either way, it's likely to be considerably warmer than Scotland in February .

You can increase your chance of good weather by going to the southern end of an island but I wouldn't do 'cheap' AI unless you are happy for the food to be average at best buffet food.

Try putting your requirements into the deals section of jet2holidays, who fly from Edinburgh and I think Glasgow, and see if anything suitable comes up. But you're likely to have a 5+ hour flight as it's over 4 hours when we fly from Leeds or Manchester.
