North Devon!

Hi!

We've just booked a few days away in North Devon ( near Ilfracombe) next month. We've never been to the area before, can anyone recommend any days out we could do there?

Two boys aged 11 and 16. Eldest is very sporty/ adventurous so would love kayaking, high ropes etc. He'd give anything a go! DS2 isn't so keen but might have a go depending on the activity.

Any tips?

Thanks

Ilfracombe Sea Safari RIB ride
Princess Cruises (we went on the 2 hour seals and lighthouse cruise)
Keypitts Quads
Watermouth Castle (especially the dungeon labyrinth)
Adventure Days at Skern Lodge www.skernlodge.co.uk/during-school-holidays
The Ultimate Adventure Centre at The Big Sheep thebigsheep.co.uk/plan-your-day/things-to-do/ultimate-adventure-centre/
Watersmeet (national trust)

Everything Ricekrispie recommended, particularly the Sea Safari rib from the harbour.

Even just walking around Capstone Hill and Hillsborough will be enjoyable, particularly on a windy day.

Will still be quiet in February, not all the restaurants will be open, but it is a fantastic place for eating out.
