I am trying to locate a suitable summer AI for a family of four (11 year old and 1 year old boys) but am swamped in seemingly endless options.

Can anybody make any recommendations based on your own experiences or knowledge please.

Our requirements would loosely be

Max 4k for 2 weeks
Ideally have a waterpark on site or close
If not, at least some decent water slides
Good food but does not have to be anything too flash
A decent gym
Fun stuff for the older boy including games, sports, a games room etc
Location does not matter within reason

Have a look at Insoltel Cala Mandia in Majorca, we stayed there a few years ago and really liked it. The rooms have a separate children's bedroom and are a high standard. The food was excellent and there is a water park, it's also right next to a sandy beach and the resort although small is has a few shops and bars.

Hi, check out my new Facebook group to ask for recommendations.

It’s called ‘BEST and WORST family holidays’, you should be able to find it if you search under groups. I’d appreciate any new joiners as it’s new and I’m trying to grow the group.

Thank you Smile

Try Sunrise Royal Makadi in Hurghada, Egypt. 7 ala cartes, water park, amazing beach, coral reef (even better coral reef next door at Fort Arabesque), well trained staff, nice all inclusive, tons of activities, kids disco, waterpark, clean, and a great animation team. Anyone who gets me playing volleyball is a miracle worker!

I'm going back again in May. There is a Facebook group for Sunrise Royal Makadi lovers if you want to have a look.
