Has anyone been?
Thinking of taking the dcs (10 & 15) in the summer
Prices are brilliant compared to UK

We like one in Germany and one in Belgium but if anyone has any experience I'd love to know where you stayed

We’ve been to two in Belgium and one in the Netherlands. All excellent.

Yes have been twice to CP near Eindhoven. Lovely atmosphere, great value. Be aware that they are more sports/activity based rather than spa - there was no Aqua Sana. But there was an indoor ski centre (real snow) Grin

Hi thanks, which ones did you both stay at?
I'm looking at De Vossemeren in Belgium or bostalsee in Germany

We went to de kampervanaan near Eindhoven after reading about it on here! I got The prices online then phoned them and they made it even cheaper and talked me through everything.

We loved the electric golf cart as the youngest wasnt a good cyclist at that point.

The children had a ski lesson three of the days. They loved the farm. The pool was great.

We originally intended to fly into eindhoven and out of amsterdam, but didnt in the end. We spent a night in a hotel in eindhoven on the sunday then headed to centerparcs on the monday. Id go for the saturday as well next time as nothing opened until lunch on monday! Beautiful city.

We went half board.

So flights, hotel on eindhoven, taxis, half-board, the room extras, plus skiing cost less than the same week would have cost self catering and driving an hour in england.

Search MN for Kempervennan. Been discussed recently.

MozzchopsThirty · 24/01/2020 09:24

Many thanks will take a look
Are the extra activities very expensive?

Bump for the daytime bunch

Activities aren't cheap, but no worse than CP here. You do get some free activity vouchers when you arrive but you're encouraged to book some activities in advance and you can't use the vouchers on those iyswim?

We went to de Kempervennen too. We're not skiers / snowboarders but my nephew is. We did the sledging session as a family and that was really good fun. And the lasertag is for a whole hour, outside and they add challenges. Loved it. We've been out of season before the lake activities are open but they were setting up a great inflatable assault course there.

We have relatives near Dover so stay with them, get a 6am Eurotunnel and then drive the rest of the way across northern France / Belgium and into Holland. You can be there by midday.

MozzchopsThirty · 24/01/2020 15:19

Fabulous thanks for that Smile
I'm going to have a look with the dcs later and see which they like the look of

Ferry for me, I just couldn't face the euro tunnel

When we went flights were cheaper!

We've been to Eperheide in Belgium and De Kempervennen in NL. The latter is better for older kids. We did the dine around package which was quite good value. The activities got booked up quite quickly.
