We've booked 2 weeks in Disney. a week at all Star Movie resort for full on Disney kitsch 'for the kids' and then more luxury for us (we hope( with a week at the Disney Yacht Club.

Anyone stayed at these?

People who couldn't bear ro ever go to disney need not tell me why.

I'M REALLY EXCITED!

I was going to start this thread!!

I am in the fortunate position to have have a cousin that works at DisneyWorld Orlando and can get me a discount so I am pondering which hotel to stay at. We were originally going to be staying in a shack 120 miles out of town on our budgte so the thought of a Disney Hotel makes me weak with excitement.

Top tips please.

Oh and did I mention free entry to the parks.

Hi tiredemma!

I was trying to remeber which hotel you stayed in.
What was port Orleans like? did you visit any other hotels to see what they were like?

We're not going until next October though!!(2008)

Maybe see you soon

Id stay at Port orleans again in a shot.

Animal Kingdom would be my preferred first choice but its mega bucks.

in fact - all of it is fab, id go back NOW.

Hi!- The benefit of staying on disney is the perks like extra hours and free shuttle transfers.

SmileysPeeples · 30/08/2007 21:58

We ummed and ahhed about staying on Disney or not, but some people recommenede it as a more relexing way to do Disney, as you can do a few hours in the morning go and relax at your hotel and go back later if you want.

That swung it for us inthe end, we want to see alot but at a relaxed pace.
