Where to go in February mid term

Thinking of going away for a city break in February. There are good value breaks available to Berlin, Frankfurt, Gdańsk, Poznań,Wroclaw, Katowice or Malta. Help me decide! I’ve been to Berlin before and really loved it. Haven’t been to any of the others. Love wandering in cities seeing sites and restaurants etc. No great interest in shopping. All advice welcome.

I've only been to Berlin out of those and would happily go back again and again!

Frankfurt is boring as hell, there are a couple of nice museums and a historic market square but that's it. Unless you use it as a base it is not a holiday destination.
I would check the average temperatures in Poland for February, the deals may be good value for a reason.
I loved Malta, if you like history there is tons to see.

I agree Poland may be cold. We did Iceland in January 2 years ago though and absolutely loved it so not too worried about that.
Good to hear about Frankfurt. Will cross that off so.

We went to Prague one Feb, freezing cold but very beautiful (and hot wine and outside heaters helped!). We took our eldest 2 who were 12 and they really loved it, particularly a nighttime ghost walk around the old town!
Of the Poland options, not been but Krakow looks interesting? Yes it will be bloody freezing but just take the clothes! Malta will be warmer - it’s a bit marmite. I really liked Valletta & Mdina but Silema and some of the resort towns were a bit blah!
