April Babymoon. Adults only luxury in the Canaries?
HolidayBaby · 21/01/2020 19:21
Hi everyone, I'm hoping to book a babymoon in April, right before 27 weeks but as late as possible so that I can get some sunshine! It would need to be shorthaul and so I've been looking at the Canaries as the best bet for the highest temperatures. A lot of the hotels in the Canaries seem to be family type places and we'd like a bit of adults only luxury before our lives come to an end we become parents.
Can anyone recommend a lovely adults only luxury hotel on any of the Canary islands? Preferably with a white sandy beach nearby and plenty of local restaurant options.

I’ve been looking for exactly the same for the last week in February, nothing has massively jumped out at me! Have you found anything yet??

I will caveat this by saying we haven’t been here (yet) however we have just come back from another Secrets in Cancún and it was great.
Secrets
Plus Lanzarote is an underrated Island, in my opinion of course, there is lots to do and explore outside the tourist offerings

Thanks! Did you find the wind to be an issue in Lanzarote?

You are welcome, if you do go please come back and give us a review!
We have never found the wind an issue at all, on the north of the island it seems to be a bit more prevalent but it makes for great surfing.

We went to the abama in Tenerife for our baby moon. Whilst it is family friendly they have an adults only pool which is where we spent our days and we avoided the 6pm dinner slot at the Italian restaurant-8pm at the tapas really didn’t feel like a child friendly haven!!
