Hi all I'm going abroad to salou in June with my partner and two children 11 n 9 I haven't got a clue about luggage ie how cases you are allowed to take we have a baggage allowance of 15 kg is this per case or per person? I'm trying to get organised so I'm freaking out with it been my 1st time

That will be per person. Check with airline as easyjet have at least 2 bag sizes and weights. Sometimes you can combine allowances up to a max limit, sometimes not.

That means you can each check in a bag up to 15kg, plus hand luggage which may have size and weight restrictions and you are limited on carrying liquids. Tbh it will be plenty and summer clothing is light, plus it can be rinsed out and dried in the sun. Can you not just ask her who the flight is with to check rules?

I've tried to ask but she hasn't replied and she knows how stressful I am n like to know everything I will keep trying to ask her I'm no good lol x

www.tui.co.uk/destinations/info/luggage-allowance

Each person can have 1 case with up to 15 kg in, plus 1 piece of hand luggage up to 10kg. Supermarkets and places like Home Bargains sell cheap luggage scales, that you hook your case/bag to and weigh it.

"For TUI Airways flights, you’re allowed to pool your luggage allowance with anyone else travelling on your booking. However, each bag can only weigh up to 23kg."

You'd need to check who your airline is, as it might not be TUI Airways. If I doubt, stick to 1 case per person and make sure it's under 15kg.

Everyone will have 15kg each. We always have a case each

handbagsatdawn33 · 18/01/2020 19:38

I'd have one per person. Wheelie cases are easy for kids, just needs an adult to lift when necessary.

Stop stressing !!
Just look forward to your holiday, & ask whatever questions you have on here.

4 of us take 2 cases in total about 20 kilo each if its a beach holiday. But I admittedly pack light. This year I'm taking an extra smaller bag as hold luggage for shoes & suncream now they are bigger I can't squash it all in to two.

I always pack half a suitcase per person..Well leave DH half,...
But last minute split items for people over different bags in case one gets lost.
Handluggage wise I'd take one bag with important stuff and medication. Other for kids to be in charge of..

olivo · 18/01/2020 19:55

We do as happy does, 2 cases of approx 20kg for 4 of us, mixed up in case one doesn't make it. That is usually for 2 weeks sunny holiday.

Anything you want for the journey - snacks, book, kindle, tissues, handbag, sweets, passport and boarding cards, copy of insurance and ehic card . Any liquids/paste need to be under 100ml each and placed in a clear bag(which you can get before security) and scanned separately. Larger liquids (ie toiletries, suncream) go in case. Are you normally this anxious?
