Does anyone have experience of travelling to USA with DC with different surname? What documents did you take, was it ok? Any advice?

Thank you

It’s not the different last name that would be the issue but that the children are traveling overseas with only one parent. CBP recommends you carry a notarized statement from the other parent or a copy of the paperwork that shows you have sole custody.

I agree it's best to take a letter from their father agreeing to you travelling with them.
Sometimes you aren't asked but you can be.
