Cape Town with DC

DH and I have ben to CPT before and loved it, and thinking of going at Easter with DC 12 and 9 to celebrate a big anniversary. Last time was filled with fine food and lots of wine, this time would be different! Anyone been with kids and have accommodation ideas, things to do, etc?

Here are some of the things we did with our DC
Hire a car
Simons town and penguins
Spiers
Aquarium
Cape of Good Hope
Stellenbosh for a mooch around
Camps Bay for a few meals and time on the beach.
V&A waterfront for a lot of meals and walking around.
Various beaches for a couple of hours.
We stayed at Protea President in Bantry Bay which worked out really well.
We loved it so much we went back without the DC a few years ago and stayed at Table Bay.

Sounds brilliant, how long were you there for? Did you stay in one place and travel round the whole time?

8 nights plus the nights on the plane, we stayed in just the one hotel and then went out every day in the car. We enjoyed driving along Chapman’s Peak.
