Christmas Days Out (a little early I know!)

As the Mum of a one year old boy I found it very frustrating last year trying to find festive activities to take him to. I spent hours trawling the internet, but the information was scattered all over the place. So this year I have taken matters into my own hand! I have registered the domain www.christmasdaysout.co.uk and I am currently compiling entries for Christmas 2007. I want to hear about grottos, santa trains, Christmas markets, ice rinks, lights switch ons, live reindeer, sleigh rides - anything and everything to do with Christmas (and if they are free, even better!).
The site will go live from early October, so if you know of any events, please email me at [email protected] and I will list your event for free! Let's all help each other and make it a VERY Merry Christmas!!

Hatfield House has a Christmas Fair.
Every little borough and town will do Christmas lights.
Last year they did ice skating at the science museum.
There is loads to do.
Will help with research if you would like, maybe we could get freebies for adding links. Sorry, I am ever the entreprenuer.

Santa's wonderland at Paulton's Park is absolutely fab too.

For the under 5s Sundown Adventureland near Retford was always a magical place to be at Christmas time.
