Meet and Greet Parking, Gatwick North.

Has anybody used Purple Parking or Airparks for meet and greet parking at Gatwick North terminal?
I’m a bit nervous about using a company who drive your car off site (seen some dodgy ones on Watchdog). but the onsite charges are huge so we’re considering these companies for the first time.
Any experiences, good or bad, would be appreciated.

I've used Purple Parking at LGW & LHR - but not meet & greet. Good service - discount for regular customers. Transfer buses are frequent.
Would recommend them.
I've also used Airparks at Luton,: all computerised, more sophisticated than PP, but again I don't bother with m&g

Don't know about Airparks but Purple Parking are completely legit. All their cars are parked onsite, they've been established for years.

We use Purple Parking at Heathrow - never been any issues.

I thought both Airparks and Purple Parking were agencies for other parking companies, offering all types of official and offsite parking?
I've found booking direct with the official onsite Meet and Greet using Quidco, or using the Holiday Extras link on the Moneysavingexpert gets you onsite M&G parking for just a few pounds more than the cheapest offsite supplier, although this was at Manchester Airport.

I’ve used all of them at some point. Purple parking was a massive faff. Meet and Greet was fine and it’s a quick call and there’s your car.
I still prefer parking through the Gatwick site though. Sometimes short stay is pretty reasonable and I find it’s worth it just to be able to walki to my car and go. You can go through Topcashback and get a small percentage back.

Thanks. Managed to book a meet and greet with a discount.
We’ll have a fair bit of bulky luggage so I want to avoid having to lug it about too much.

We just used the onsite one via a discount code on holiday extras price was the same and a brilliant service.
