Majorca advice

I'm currently looking at summer holidays, it will be me, DH, DD5 and DD2 (almost). I've found quite a few hotels that look nice and are in our budget but I can't decide on area. I think I've narrowed it down to C'an Picafort, Alcudia or Cala D'or. We have been to Cala D'or before but eldest DD was only 6 months so we didn't really pay attention to what was going on for kids! We will do self catering or B&B so want some nice restaurants we can walk to, nice beaches etc. Looking to go very end of August so hoping it might not be too busy (wishful thinking!).

Any advice greatly received.

Can picafort is likely to be the least busy of the 3 x

Thank you, have you been? It's a hard balance to get, I don't want it to have a 'brits abroad' feel to it but want there to be enough restaurants/shops etc to have a choice in where to eat. Is it easy enough to get to Alcudia from there if we wanted a day trip?

I’ve been tk Majorca lots but never picafort.

We have done Cala dor, can pastilla, Inca, Cala Millor, and manacor. We always get a villa and hire a car (dh parents live in Mallorca). We are doing port de pollenca this year.

Cala millor has the most beautiful beach I d ever been on in my life and we will definitely be having a couple of days there on our next holiday x

We have been to Cala Millor several times, very flat, quiet and lively places if you seek them out, it a family place mostly, if you fancy a change its walkable to Sa Coma. Plenty of apartments and hotels.
Hoping to go for a long weekend in the summer

Thanks for the advice. After lots of research, we have booked the Villaconcha in Puerto Pollensa.
