What’s been your best trip with 2 little ones?
We took DC1 on various crazy adventures before he turned 1 (were living in South America, so Patagonia, road trips, wine tasting, boating on lakes), then decided to be “sensible” and took him to a resort in Tenerife when he was 18mo. Worst holiday ever; hotel was lovely but we seemed to spend all our time getting ready to go somewhere or do something and never just bloody relaxing.
Now we have DC2, and need to think about a summer holiday (June/early July). I don’t want to fly long haul with the two of them. I don’t want to be endlessly getting ready, and going to and from a room carrying beach bags etc. I want something stimulating for me and DH, in some way (really enjoyed the animal park in Tenerife, for example- DH less so, but still). Not self-catering, I don’t think.
Any ideas please?!
