Anyone swapped their Tesco tokens for hotel tokens?and how easy was it to get booked ?

as they seem to be particular about when and where and I am restricted to school hols/weekends

for hijack! I don't shop in TESCO'S!

We used Tesco Tokens at Youth Hostel last week - fabulous. No restrictions on when/where - just phone up and book, then hand over vouchers when you arrive.

We are also going to use vouchers to pay for ferries to Ireland for our hols next year; also tickets to Hampton Court Palace for October half term; we have a few Days Out vouchers left from this summer, so will probably pop up to the zoo for a couple of hours one afternoon.

I desperately want to use Tesco vouchers to go to do AIRKIX at Milton Keynes, but we are running out of holiday time (dh not me!) for 2007/8, so I'm putting that one on hold for now.

It can be restrictive and I felt annoyed by the process last time.

By the time I took into account the fact that I couldn't take advantage of website special deal AND teh fact I had to book a more expensive room to get a double bed as they couldn't offer me a double bed with tesco vouchers, my stay cost me quite a bit and I thought I had enough vouchers to go almost 'free'.

And I used them in mid Nov so hardly a busy time

Hiya Roisin -feeling much better now the hormones have worn off and the kids are back now so am much more myself.Now am really looking forward to bf coming back but when he does its more or less straight back to work so bitter-sweet really

I looked at the YH and holidays but we are away Oct half term ,whit and a week of next summer already so don't really want to have another week away.We are going to Stratford again soon though and overnight to Manchester too so was hoping to use vouchers for things like that.We have passes now for the zoo so won't be using them there either.
