Holidays

BA, Thai airways or EvaAir to Thailand. Cost is about the same and we will be in economy. Who would you pick?

I’m really not keen on BA, especially after the abysmal year they have had with strikes and technical problems.
I don’t think the planes are particularly nice and they are a bit cramped.

Travel bag are organising my holiday and has said BA are fine and just as good as the other airlines.

I’ve flown with Thai before, they were ok, nice clean planes.
Not flown with Eva air before.
Any opinions?

We flew with Thai airways this summer. They were great.

Emirates 100%.

Brilliant seats with lots of leg room at the back and service impeccable plus food is great.

Get a blanket though - it can be chilly.

Thai, yep.
Emirates are just as good BUT will surely be going via dubai, leading to awful sleep deprivation from the gapping. If they're going direct they're fine too.

We've going with EVAAir in summer, BA was a lot more expensive for the same. Safety rating for EVAAir is excellent 7/7 which was important for me and 30kg of free luggage each included.

Thai. On the a380, one each way per day. Definitely better than the 777. Eva also good but only fly 777.

1st Thai, 2nd BA, 3rd Eva

Eva's planes are clean and shiny but I found their food to be dire last time I flew with them.

Although I'd prefer to fly with Qatar or Emirates really. It's good to stretch your legs for a while while changing in Doha/Dubai.

Another vote for Thai. Have always had a good experience with them; feel like I’m on holiday as soon as I get on the beautifully fragranced plane! And a big thumbs down for BA: food and service nowhere near as good.

Have only flown long haul with BA out of those three, and I wouldn't do it again. Cramped planes, crap entertainment, crap food. Avoid!

BA because I have silver rewards, however I would fly Thai if you arnt collecting avios on BA! I personally wouldn't recommend Eva myself, I have flew with them and I had a bit of a shit crew, so it's put me off the airline.

Thanks everyone. We can collect BA points but that wouldn’t be a deciding factor.

The Travel agent has now said we are with EVA. I need to pay today so I’m going to ask about Thai instead.
We flew with them in 2016 and were impressed in economy.
