Just wanted to know how your car journey to France went - did you go by tunnel or ferry? Did you stop over night?

We are thinking of driving next year - will save on cost of flights (5 of us) and then car hire so thinking it could be a good option.

We have a big car (GV) and DVD player so that's a bonus!

We are doing the drive with tunnel on Saturday, to near Sables.
