Tenerife help anyone

I'm off to Tenerife for a week in September.

Never been before, only ever heard stories about it being tacky etc. We are staying in playa de las americas at mare nostrum complex. Apparently its a more upmarket place than the club/rave scene that playa is known for!

Anybody been? Please tell me it will be lovely

My IL's go twice a year. I hear them talk about the Veronicas a lot. And a bar called Faces Not much help am I? Sorry...

The weather will be beautiful and you will have a wonderful time...all the chavs will be unconscious while you and your family have a fab time

The area which you are staying is nice even if it is in PDLA, it's quite near Los Cristianos. I'm going in September too and staying in a hotel nearby Mare Nostrum. I've never been there personally but I have been told it's very grand and beautiful. Enjoy

try heading up the coast a bit to the costa adeje, the beach there is supposed to be better and the area quieter and more family orientated
