Paris travel advice during the strikes AMA

Inspired by another thread, where the poor OP has a horrendous time getting home from Disneyland with the current strikes.
I live in Paris and pretty sure there a few other MNers around. If you need any advice on getting to, from or around the city at the moment, tag me on here and I'll try to help!
