Hi - thinking of braving Alton this sunday or bank holiday monday - wondering how horrendously long queue times might be... going with 5 year old so will be the smaller rides. Any info would be great pleaes

I think you'll be OK on the smaller rides happynewme. It depends alot on the weather though. Forecast for Sunday is good. Have you been before?

smaller rides should be not too bad. Are you loaded, if so buy fast track tickets. also make sure you go on carlie and choccie factory.

If you dont fancy alton towers why not try drayton manor this has more smaller rides.

i personally wouldnt bother with the fast track tickets, i have never seen them working and i went loads in the last few years!

I was once told by an employee at Alton Towers that Bank Holiday Monday is the best time to go - cos everyone thinks everyone else is going so gives it a miss iykwim.

Don't know if this still holds true.

I'd have thought the smaller rides wouldn't be too bad anyway.
