winter sun with a kids club

As our summer holiday was certainly tainted if not ruined by relatives we would like a Christmas holiday for dd, dp and I where we can have some sun and relaxation and if possible a kids club for dd as she is an only child and gets bored of us and now that we have had to cut ties with family we have no childcare so a few child free periods for dp and I would be very welcome.

Many places only seem to offer child clubs in the summer.

That sounds like a nightmare! Do you have any friends you could book a cottage with? Christmas in front of a roaring log fire, maybe? Or do you want to go abroad?
If you want to go alone in this country then the Studland Bay Hotel is great for children, if a little pricey.

Silly me... 'winter sun' doesn't imply Dorset, does it?!

We have been a bit battered and bruised by our holiday and tbh want some time on our own, we also want to escape family at Christmas.

I don;t mind staying in this country for Christmas but dp thinks that staying somewhere in this country might juts make us pine for home but if we go away and have some sun it will feel like a treat.

I will also be finishing my first term in my new job and think a bit of sun and R&R will do me good.
