Florida Hurricanes

Hi,
Now getting worried that we might hit a hurricane as we go in two weeks time, anyone else going soon?

Speak to Kateandthegirls - she lives over there, and has had to deal with all 4 I think.

But don't worry too much. We were there for the first one and it was fine where we were. Your villa or hotel will be strong enough to withstand any inland hurricanes I am sure.

Hurricanes should be finished soon. Don't worry. Spoke to Disney a couple of days ago and it's 80 degrees.

Dear Triplets, let's hope the storms are over for a bit!! I will be cruising in the Western Carribean when you get hereso let's hope the storms are over for now! I will be visiting Grand Caymen and I hear that it has been all but destroyed. Anna Maria Island should be beautifulSanibel took the storms very hard, I hear that they are rebuilding now, so it was a great choice for you to stay up North. Disney is looking great and the weather should be beautiful for you. October is my favorite month here in Florida. It is just like Spring in England. Have a wonderful trip! Hopefully we are all done witht he hurricanes. We've had 4 strike Florida this season - the most in recorded history. Surely there can't be another....

But even if there is, like Hula said you'll be in a safe building. As long as you're sensible and stay inside, don't touch live power lines or go surfing in the middle of it, you'll be fine. And if there is a possibility that where you are will be dangerous you'll be evacuated.

I love October too. It should finally have started to cool down a little bit and you'll have a great time. (I think my favourite month is April though!)

Hi to you both,
Thank you for the reassuring messages and for the phone number. I know I will enjoy it all once I am there but just hoping my trio will put up with the long flight and getting through the airport with all the security checks etc. Its my first trip to Florida, had 3 hols in California with Matthew, so feeling so very sad that he is not here to come too......if he were here he would say."oh Mum just do it" xxxxxxxxxx miss him.Time for bed, it is very late and I am feeling blue.
