Lake Garda by Train

Hi, can anyone recommend the best area to stay if travelling to Lake Garda by train from Milan. We won’t be hiring a car so needs to be easy to get to by public transport.

You can get the train to Peschiera del Garda from Milan and then just make sure you’re on a bus route where you’re staying.

We recently stayed just outside Garda, got the bus to Riva del Garda, Malcesine etc, v easy

If you google Lake Garda buses you’ll get route maps etc
