Crete

Hi, I am hoping to go to Crete next summer with two daughters, 14&16. We will hire a car and probably would prefer villa but walking distance from a beach, few restaurants etc but not too busy?
Any top tips?

Check out piskopiano and Koutaloufari they are stunning. Also beautiful beach along from Star Beach, perfect for snorkelling and lovely little beach cafe. In hersonnisis the best restaurant hands down is Vesuvius Italian. Most amazing food we have ever eaten. We love Crete wouldn't go anywhere else! The happy train is brilliant to see the old towns, you can hop on and off. Enjoy! We stayed at Marni Village...beautiful!
