Prague hotel

I’m taking my daughter to Prague for 3 nights in December to celebrate her 18th birthday. I’d like to stay in the Old Town but I’m really struggling to decide on a hotel. I know it’s going to be really busy, so not looking for peace and quiet. 4star and upwards. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Many thanks

Hi @2mileB27 just bumping this for you and hopefully some helpful Mumsnetters will be along soon with some advice.

We'll also move this to the Shorthaul section. Flowers

Archibald on the charles bridge. Lovely attic rooms as well as normal ones but overlooking the river and a great rustic restaurant beneath.

Thank you ms the Archibald was on my shortlist.

Just back from Prague and had a great time, have a look at Honest Guide Prague on YouTube.

We stayed in Mooo Downtown and loved it. If you book with the hotel directly, they'll send a transfer for you from and to the airport. It's an aparthotel above a bakery, noodle place and cocktail bar. It's next door to a sister hotel with a restaurant. It's right by loads of other restaurants and a tram stop. I was with friends this time and am going back with DH and another couple.

They have a Mooo by the Castle too.

Have a lovely time

We stayed here for 4 nights 2 weeks ago. Rey comfortable, good breakfast and great location!

Have fun.

Thank you both. I’m still dithering, however I have managed to book tickets to see The Nutcracker at the National theatre!

We stayed at Moods Boutique hotel a couple of years ago - good breakfast I seem to remember? Handy location, about a 10 minute walk to the Astronomical Click, but might not be as luxurious as you might like? Our bookings generally centre on feeding hungry teenagers Smile
