anyone ever stayed with their kids in a youth hostel?

they do family breaks apparently...

We keep planning to but haven't got there yet. I recommended it to friends who stayed down at Salcombe YH at Easter and had a fab time. Big old house, big gardens, lots of board games for evenings etc.

I also have friends who use Holland Park in central London - which is one of the YHAs best kept secrets - amazing value for a family break in the middle of a park in the middle of London.
