2 gites/1 large gite for 2 families holidaying together near Bordeaux

We are hoping to go away with friends next year. We'd like to be near Bordeaux in either two neighboring gites or one larger one. We're one family of 5 and one of 4. Their children are a bit older so would be good if there was enough space for them to escape from our younger ones sometimes. We definitely want a pool and if they was a trampoline/some other play stuff for younger kids (4+) that would be ideal. Thanks for any recommendations

We’ve stayed here a few times www.vignaudgites.com/cottages an hour from Bordeaux. Two of the three gites are close enough together for two families travelling together without being right on top of each other. No pool, but the lake is perfect for swimming, boating and fishing with a small beach. Loads to do both on the farm and in the local area. Rustic rather than luxury accommodation but that has its advantages with children.
