Portable DVD player

5yo DD was occupied by her Gameboy Advance a lot this year.

WE had a 7 hour wait in Frankfurt tis year before flying onto US. Looking for and buying a small toy passed some time. Both kids bought airport sets which kept tehm occupied for ages. Finding a quiet spot in the airport where they could run around helped - as did finding somewhere where they could watch teh planes. And getting something to eat.
Time did pass eventually - and by the time we got to States we had forgotten all about teh wait.

You can use DVD player on the plane (providing you want to lug the battery with you) except during take off & landing.

ah cool!, although will keep that snippet to myself for now other wise we'll have everyone on the plane humming "follow the yellow brick road" at 2am in the morning and a grumpy dd next day..if she really cant sleep ill let her have it on tho..thanks for that..and p.s this battery is quite slim?, so all nice and compact in hand luggage!

You should be able to plug headphones in to the DVD player as well
