Christmas short haul sun family holiday

Is there such a thing? Dont want to go as far as Dubai but is there anywhere with 25+ temps, beach resort, lots of activities?

Only the Canaries. It'll be 20 - 24

Or you could go to a big AI hotel resort in Egypt or Cape Verde.

Canaries could be nice and warm/hot or could be a bit hit and miss but you better for going out and about independently.

Egypt or Cape Verde more suitable if you just want to use the hotel facilities, but weather more reliably hot.

Cape Verde isn’t completely reliably hot. We went a couple of years ago around 20th December. It was freezing cold and very windy. Unusually so for CV but there’s always a risk due to location.

I’m looking for an Xmas get away but the prices are sky high and most good hotels are booked .

Applejack87 Xmas in always expensive, I booked last December for this xmas and it was expensive then.

Short haul doesn't really exist. Egypt is your best bet if you want to risk it.

I agree Userxx , I looked at next year , we would love to go away I’ve been looking at GC or Tenerife , most good hotels have been booked & I begrudge paying a ridiculous amount for a crap hotel
I guess it’s a price you have to pay for an Xmas get way
