Uppababy vista & BA

Does anyone know if an uppababy vista base (would take off wheels, make it as small as possible and have contained in a protective bag) could count as one item of ‘baby kit’ on a British airways flight to Germany, and then the seat part (also in a protective bag) as the other item of ‘baby kit’. Am worried that they might be too big, but will have a small baby who won’t manage a conventional pushchair where they have to be able to sit upright.

Thanks for any advice you have - the BA website doesn’t seem particularly clear!

not BA but when i flew with my uppababy they counted it as one item. in fact if i recall correctly they took it off me at the stairs and just collapsed the wheels, left the seat on!

I’ve travelled with the Uppababy and put it all (frame and seat) in this bag. Had to remove the wheels but otherwise it all fitted fine. I kept the buggy up until the gate then put it in this bag.

Thanks all, have got a uppababy bag on order, hopefully it will get to the gate and count as one baby item, with the car seat as the other piece.
