canaries in july - where would you recommend with 7 and 8 yr olds?

Would it be too hot at the beginning of july and can anyone recommend islands, resorts, hotels? I fancy hb or ai any experiences?

gran canaria definately been 7 time id recommend it to anyone, its hot hot hot so it really depends on how good your lo are with heat i was there in june with my 8 and 3 year old. peurto rico is the nicest and the people are fab,its pretty cheap to eat out but they have some lovely hb and ai hotels

Playa Blanca resort in Lanzarote, Hotel Rubicon palace. Will be hot I guess but it's agreat plave and perhaps not so tacky as some of the other islands.
