I live in Norwich - you wont find any cottages to rent in Norwich itself but you should be able to find something on the North Norfolk Coast. Hang on I need to go check my potatoes. Will post back in a minute. Whereabouts in Norwich do your friends live?

Just had a brainwave!

This B & B is in the village where I live. My mum and dad stay here when they come to visit from Scotland.

It is really lovely - the pictures don't do it justice. The couple who own it are really friendly and welcoming. The rooms are ensuite and you would fit a travel cot in the double bedroom. The gardens are lovely too. The lady who owns it recently won a village competition for her garden, her partner is a builder and has renovated the house to a very high standard.

Hethersett itself is about 5 miles outside Norwich. It's off the A11, so handy if coming from London. There are 2 Waitrose's nearby and a Tesco extra in the village which opens until 11pm at night. There are 2 pubs in the village both of which serve decent food.

HTH. If you need any more info let me know

Sorry don't have a clue where Hill St is! Have had a quick look at Rightmove though and if its near to where I think it is, the B & B would only be about 10 minutes or thereabouts from your friends.
