Flying with milk

We are flying to Thailand from Heathrow with our two year old who still has bottles of milk. She can’t have cows milk so we need to take oat milk with us. Both Heathrow and the airline have said we cannot take more than 100ml for the flight and would have to empty her milk into her bottles 100ml each bottle. We would only need to take one carton on the flight which is one litre. But everyone is saying no. I thought it was different if the milk was for a child? Has anyone travelled and taken more than 100ml on the plane

Two thoughts. Do you have a medical letter saying she needs the milk? Can you order it from boots after security?
