Where to go in January?

We want somewhere hot. Ideally weather we can sit on the beech, go in the pool etc.

We were thinking Tenerife by we aren’t sure if it’ll be hot.

Our next pick was Orlando.

What would you suggest?

Orlando and Tenerife are very different budget wise as well as flight time and depends on what you have to spend! Tenerife is about 20 degrees in Jan according to Google - fine then for sitting around next to the pool (or swimming if you are hardy!). Other than that, you’re looking a mid or long haul. Cape Verde apparently is about 24 degrees - not sure there is much to do there but depends on what you are looking for! Dubai will be cool by local standards (I used to live there and wore jumpers in Jan) but from a tourist perspective will be warm - Oman is 100 times nicer though! Orlando will be expensive if you want to do the theme parks etc but if the budget is there seems a good option? Long haul you do have lots of choice but not sure this is what you are looking for?
