Can anyone recommend a gorgeous place to stay in Pembrokeshire/Cardiganshire? DH and I have the oppurtunity for 24 child free hours in the area. Would be first night without DD in over a year. We are willing to pay a bit if it means a lovely meal and romantic bed.

Not too sure on my Welsh regions, but Hurst House in Laugharne is hip, has great food and I think it's just opened a spa of some sort. Also the Cawdor Arms in Llandeilo is kind of groovy with a nice bar and good food. They both have websites. If neither of these are the right area, there's a publication called Welsh Rarebits which probably has a website too.
Lucky you!! Hope you find somewhere lovely.

How about Llys Meddyg in Newport, Pembs? Or if you are looking for self catering, check out underthethatch.co.uk
