Thomas Cook Flight Swap

A group of us (3 friends plus our kids) booked a break through Love Holidays, of which the flight element was with Thomas Cook from Stansted.

Obviously LoveHolidays has been scrambling around to find alternative flights which they have now secured for us.

However.... 5 us now have flights from Gatwick,
3 of us from Luton . We have been advised it is what it is, take it or leave it. Even more frustratingly the people allocated Luton live the furthest away. As a last resort I considered swapping flights with my friend to try and simplify logistics but have been told it will cost £25 pp to name change.

Is there anything we can do? Appreciate everyone is trying their hardest to sort the mess out but surely if we booked as a group we should stay that way?

If it were me, I think I'd go with it. The holiday is the most important part, not the getting to and from.

Have just reread ... that is annoying! But I don't expect they're in a position to check everyone's addresses against the airports.
Shame though. I hope the holiday itself makes up for it.

I would just lump it, tbh. You still have your holiday, thousands don't.

Yep totally get that. Might just split cost of name changes with friend so at least we can travel from our nearest airports
