Hi we have decided to go away for Christmas this year and chose Tenerife due to Canary Islands all year round weather.

Just wondered if anyone had been at Christmas before and if you enjoyed it also how was the weather day/night

Thanks

I went to lanzarote for NY about 5 years ago. Weather was lovely, just a bit chilly in the evenings x

We went after Xmas and stayed for 12th night. We stayed in the mid part of the island close to friends. It was warm and windy.
Cold, very cold in the volcanos. So if you are going for a cable car trip pack a fleece.
Dc swam in the sea but was too cold for me.

We were really surprised by the island, we had all sorts of Brits abroad prejudices but wanted to visit our local friends.
We loved it.
We drank local wine, went for a costal lava flow walk, visited the volcano range. Ate local wrinkled potatoes.
Saw a large parade, with the three kings and camels. Firework displays.

Been twice for New Year. Warm enough to be in the pool during the day but it does get cooler at nights - cool enough for a light jacket.

There’s lots on in the hotels - we had a great time with gala dinners, parties etc.
