Hello, just asking for some advice..... My partners daughter lost her mum around Christmas two years ago and she prefers to be on holiday at this time. She has two children 10 and 3 and prefers all inclusive. Has anyone any ideas? She took them to Lapland last year which was very expensive but I guess everywhere is expensive at that time of year.....x
Thanks for your time :)

No, not everywhere is expensive at that time of year, although obviously Lapland is. Eg Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark are expensive any time of year, as is Switzerland.

Have been to both Portugal and Spain at that time of year and paid under £30 per night for studio/ 1 bed flats in good city centre locations. No idea about all inclusive though as I prefer to do a mix of self catering and eating out. Central /Eastern Europe is generally inexpensive too, if you want snow and Christmas markets. Eg Slovenia, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria etc all inexpensive. Germany, Austria and France more expensive, but still not too bad.

Depends what you want really, city break, mountains and snow, winter sun....
