Valet parking at Gatwick (Pink Elephant?)

Anyone used a valet parking service at Gatwick?

I really want to book one for our next trip in a few weeks time. A friend recommended Pink Elephant but I can't find anything about them doing Gatwick even though she definitely flew from there so does anyone know of a similar service - and was it any good!?

Haven't done it at Gatwick but at Manc earlier this year we used Skyparksecure (they came up cheapest IIRC) and it was fine, cost £10-15 more than park and ride but well worth it we thought.

If you use one of the search sites eg airport parking shop it will bring up all the alternatives with prices and you can usually go to their sites for feedback.

(Did you mean Purple Parking btw?)

boo64 · 11/08/2007 21:37

Probably purple parking! Where did I get the elephant bit from!!?

Thanks Wendy. I love the idea of not having to traipse on the bus from the car park etc with ds in tow plus luggage and it will save valuable time considering we have an early start.

We used Maple Manor. IIRC it was no dearer than the normal carparks and so much less hassle. I'd do it again.

different services completely, i believe

pink elephant is an off-site long stay car park

last time we flew from gatwick we used the baa valet parking, right next to the terminal - found it on the airport's website

paid £100 for 10 days parking

was fab, would def use again - cut down on time and stress factor

shall i find a link?
