Hello!

Can anyone give me any advice on where to go and what to see in Porto?

Thanks in advance!

Lots of street art, the tiles in the railway station, get on a river boat, go to one of the many port houses, lovely place and not too big, can be hilly so if you're not good at walking get a tuc tuc

Really loved Porto (first visit last year.) Hilly as pp said - but I'm 62 and managed 13km one day without distress - try to walk DOWN and get funicular etc UP, if you can.

Livraria Lello (J K Rowling) is worth a visit, tho we just went into the giftshop rather than queue for the main shop. La Vida Portuguesa (nearby) is a wonderful shop for classy souvenirs etc.

Take the tram and look out at what you see on the journey.

Eat at night on the Ribeira but be prepared to wait for a table - but then you will get lovely views over the river to the other side as you eat your fresh fish etc - just beautiful.

I can't wait to go back - fell in love with Porto!
