Holiday in October

Hi, my family never been away in the October half term. I looked at the weather across Europe, and noticed that in the Canary Islands it is an average of 20-22C in October. Anyone has any been there before during October, please advice which island would be more suitable for families.

We’ve been to Tenerife several times in October. The weather has usually been very good - likewise in Gran Canaria. One year in Tenerife we had torrential rain for a couple of days but that could happen anywhere. Can’t comment on family aspect as have no young children.

We're going to Malta in October. It averages around 28 degrees. Has never rained when we've been there before, also in october.

However goodness to plan where you're staying as there are mostly pebble or rocky beaches.
